Atlanta GA, Nov 22 2008:

SureDeliver™
(BNETAL) has been chosen by the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) to provide expert consultations and for validating the interoperability certification suite of vendor Edifecs Inc., for comformance with the CAQH CORE Phase II Connectivity and Security Rule. BNETAL will provide CORE Connectivity expertise to Edifecs and validate Edifecs' test suite using its SureDeliver CORE interfaces for standards compliance. Although the CORE interfaces are designed to support X12 transactions (eligibility/benefits), the interfaces are independent of the data or business domain, hence they can be used to support any B2B Real-time and Batch interchanges. The interoperability validation with Edifecs provides the additional assurance for Healthcare providers, Healthcare Payers and Clearinghouses that may use SureDeliver to support their CORE transactions.

SureDeliver supports ebMS (aligned with PHIN), Web-Services Reliable Messaging (aligned with HIE/NHIN), and CAQH-CORE interfaces for eligibilty/benefits transactions. This has made it very attractive for use in US departments of health, since SureDeliver can act as a common communicaiton gateway for healthcare providers to transact with payers (insurance companies), Health Information Exchanges (HIEs) and with Public Health agencies. The strong operational security provided by ManageSecure to SureDeliver Messaging Hubs has made these two solutions compelling for use in healthcare and public health, for secure reliable and open standards based data transport.
