The details on this are below:

  • ACA Section 1104 Regulations for Eligibility and Claim Status Operating Rules, and the associated Data Exchange Requirements

ACA Section 1104 regulations include specific requirements for HIPAA based healthcare administrative transactions. Included in this are requirements to comply with CAQH® CORE® Phase I and Phase II Operating Rules, in which CORE Connectivity Operating Rule is included. SureDeliver® has a fully CORE Connectivity compliant gateway implementation that can easily integrate with and augment existing revenue cycle management systems to reach compliance with the CORE Connectivity Rule.

Please refer to our white paper for more information on how SureDeliver helps with compliance with CORE® Connectivity Rules.

BNETAL has top notch subject matter expertise through its consulting engagements with CAQH CORE in which BNETAL provides expertise on connectivity and security to CORE's Operating Rule development. BNETAL knowledge of CORE Operating Rules and expertise in CORE Connectivity can be leveraged by BNETAL customers to reach compliance.

  • EHR Meaningful Use (Stage 2 and beyond) Data Exchange Requirements

SureDeliver® implements the NwHIN Exchange and NwHIN Direct standards, which are based on some of the IHE profiles that have been incorporated into the Meaningful Use (Stage 2 and beyond) data exchange requirements. Organizations can leverage SureDeliver® to enhance their clinical data processing systems to make them comply with the Meaningful Use data exchange requirements.

BNETAL consulting has been actively engaged in providing feedback to the Office of the National Coordinator (ONC) on the Meaningful Use regulations and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) HITECH regulations, and to CMS on its Affordable Care Act Section 1104 (Operating Rules) regulations.
